A few pics.

Here are some photos of our place. There is still quite a lot to be done, but we are getting there. We are so tired though.

 Don't mind the carpet on the floor it was protecting the floors while putting furniture in. 

We are still waiting for our modular, coffee table, dining table and chairs and our entertainment unit. They shouldn't be too long. I will post more photos soon.

Well as the title says we have spent three nights living in our new house and we couldn't be happier. 2 year 2 months and 6 days after buying our land. Photos to come.

Inspection Thursday Handover a week later! Woo Hoo!!!

One week and three days

I haven't uploaded the photos yet, but everything is in the house apart from the dishwasher and oven. They need to do a site clean and a clean of the house, but we have inspection on Thursday and then hanover next Friday. At last. It has been 2 years, 2 months and 7 days since we initially bought our land, so we have been very very patient to say the least.
It's funny now that it's so close we are starting to feel anxious to get in. I guess being the first time we have moved out of home makes it all the more exciting.
When we went by the other day the carpet was finished along with our bamboo floors and it looked fabulous.
Can't wait.

Almost done!!!

Not long now

After many many pictures, thought we'd better update on where we are at. I have emailed our builder and haven't heard back yet about a handover date, but it must be soon, becuase all that is left to do is the bathroom tiles, carpet and electrics. We have been so happy with the progress, it felles like we only just started building after a REALLY long wait. Will be going down today in the pouring rain to have a quick look and will post more photos later.

The other thing we have been busily  doing is buying our furtniure. We went out two weekends ago and pretty much bought our whole house worth of furniture. Modular couch, three seater couch, dining table and chairs, entertainment unit, coffee table, two beds, bedroom funiture, two t.v.'s, fridge, washing machine, dryer. It was so tiring but fun at the same time.Will post photos of our choices soon as well.

Well let's hope this rainy Melbourne weather dries up soon and we lose the pool we have surrounding our house, before we move in. :)
